DIASOMNIA is the Twisted Wonderland dorm modeled after Maleficent — a Gothic fortress on a separate hill, mist-wrapped, vine-choked, with wrought-iron gates that visitors are encouraged to admire from outside. The dorm has Briar Valley's permission to exist. The dorm leader is older than most of the faculty by an indecent margin. The thorns are doing what they look like they're doing.
Rendered in a minimalist, vintage-inspired travel-poster style, this piece captures the Gothic spires above a misted hillside, lightning forking past the highest tower, ivy and thorns crawling the gate. Storm green, gate-iron black, lightning silver. A tribute to a dorm whose leader is the oldest student at Night Raven by about four centuries.
