BERK is a small and weather-beaten island somewhere in the North Sea — twelve days north of Hopeless, a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. The village has withstood ice storms, dragon raids, and several hundred years of pure stubbornness. Locals call this character. The brochure calls it charm. Either way, the view from the cliff above the Great Hall, dragons banking in formation through the evening fog, is the kind of thing you have to see to believe.
